Spring Repertoire Performance

Classical Ballet of Mobile, Inc.

Winthrop Corey, Artistic Director

Pamela Thompson, Academy Director

We are pleased to announce the first performance of Classical Ballet of Mobile, Inc.:

Sunday March 11th, 2:30 p.m., at the Louise R. Moorer Center for the Performing Arts,

St. Luke’s School, 1400 University Boulevard South.

The mixed repertoire program will include a visually delightful sampling of some of the most

beautiful and beloved ballet choreography throughout history, as well as a look at stunning

present-day work, including an excerpt from the ballroom scene of Winthrop Corey’s

“Dracula”. Our Spring Repertoire Performance will introduce CBM to our community,

showcasing our talented dancers and a few of our students, who together will demonstrate the

depth and breadth of our performances to come, as well as our commitment to training young

dancers for our future.

In addition to our CBM dancers and Academy students, we are pleased to announce two guest

artists also performing in the program, traveling from Ballet Palm Beach: Principal dancers Lily

Ojea Loveland and Aaron Melendrez, who will perform two classic and beloved pas de deux.

Tickets may be purchased here on our website, under "Events".

We are very excited to be making this important step as a new arts organization, and continue

our commitment to produce the finest in dance performance and ballet training. In closing, we

express grateful appreciation to our board of directors, supporters, faculty, dancers, students

and our community for their unfailing support and enthusiasm toward the success of Classical

Ballet of Mobile.
